Art night in Santa Cruz and Equinox Wine

Designed this Equinox wine label years ago. Ran across it the other night at First Night Santa Cruz art at Vino Prima wine bar while checking out Crystal Burns beautiful paintings. Love doing wine and food packaging graphics. I'm even more inspired after going to the Fancy Food Show in SF last month.

Happy Birthday Monterey Bay Aquarium

Front and center this morning when you walked into the Aquarium, made our way to the fresh fruit and pastries before the cupcake table.

Kids got to watch a few feedings and enjoy seeing the tanks without fighting through all the people.

Skateboard Booth Design 1980's for NHS

Found some negatives and prints from a small scale model I designed for an ASR booth for Santa Cruz Skateboards back in 1989. We ended up doing a simple black booth. They liked this one but it was a bit pricey back then. I envisioned a clean pool with riders doing tricks over the back. At the time it was Roskopp, Hosoi, Salba, Kendall and a few others. Two video's playing on each side and storage inside, large Santa Cruz red dot logo hanging above. Fresh from SJSU and having assisting with Lorri Kershner on some models I got pretty good with the xacto, airbrush and foam core. Second show it would be all graffiti up and more distressed then we could part it out to shops to reuse.
