Insta360 Camera Shoot and Video a Day in the Life Oldest Skateboarder

What an amazing day. I interviewed with the Insta360 team via zoom a few months ago. I have been working with Vicki one of my contacts since we started the documentary project with the Japanese American National Museum and Lou Nakasako. My son Ryan introduced me to the first Insta360 I bought a x3 and then have been fortunate to get x4 and x5. I use the cameras on the daily picking up clips at CrossFit when I lift. I can see if I am not even balanced with the barbell or document a PR lift. I use it for slalom skateboard coaching as well. You can view from overhead and see body position and make adjustments.

The cameras are fun to use when skateboarding and I use them at Lenz Arts on Instagram video's. I have the Go and the Insta360 GO Ultra cameras, Insta360 Flow 2 Series as well. The x5 on the extended pole gives the drone view without having to know how to fly one. My son is made his own drone and is very good at flying it and uses my old x4 to capture free diving in Santa Cruz and the Monterey Bay. I don't push hard on selling just love using their cameras. I have my affilate link here and below. I get a little credit and you get a small discount if you go through the link.

Dan Benhamo the videographer founder of The Beach House and Roni came to Santa Cruz and showed up at my house at 5:30 am, Dan got in my back seat and drove with me to West Fitness while Roni followed. That was my first introduction in person. Did the first part of the workout on Endurance Friday and then left. Thank you Natalie and Sam for letting us shoot there and all my 6:00 am ers. I went to run my dogs and then got a text that my appointment to take Andrew to his PT was moved up 45 minutes. Luckily I was home earlier than planned. I had commited weeks ago to take Andrew and I keep my word.

Went to NHS Museum to interview and shoot. Dave Freio and Dave Jr. were kind enough to let us shoot him pad printing Independent Trucks and check out the private testing bowl area. Where they print shirts and other items. All the inks and boards are amazing. Thanks Mark Woodman, Jessie and Deva. Anyone can go check out the NHS Museum you just have to make an appointment and go during the work week. Here is the link to the calendar they have a self guided tour.

Lenz Arts where I am the marketing director. I frame all my stuff here. I work on all the social media and print materials. The crew here is awesome. They call me the fixer. I am more of a General Manager, HR and get shit done. Even clean the mural so Alex doesn't have to in the heat of the sun. It was a full day to say the least.

Skated the New Brighton pump track. To cap off the night I was awarded the Sea Dubs Community Champion and got the honor of cutting down the basket ball net at the Santa Cruz Warriors event at the Kaiser Permanente Arena.

If you want to check out the cameras I use here is my Insta360 affilate link.
