Selling my 23" Apple Cinema HD Display LCD Monitor. This monitor is 1920 x 1200 resolution, true 1080p HD. This is the acrylic framed matte finish glass no glare monitor includes a 2 port USB hub, perfect for a printer or flash drive concealed behind. Includes 2002 Manual and original CD software and Diamond D Diamond Bvu195 Usb External Video Display Adapter which retails for $76.99 on Macmall The monitor is in overall good condition but has a light pinkish tone at the top and bottom of screen. I bought it a few months ago from the original owner who is a professional local Santa Cruz photographer. He paid $1,999.00 new. It has been a perfect second monitor but I would not recommended for professional color correction. Working on dual page layouts for watching movies it is just fine. I changed up my work station and don't have the space for it. Any questions or offers please email me. Thanks! $200.00 firm Craigslist ad

How to help yourself if you have Adobe CS5 problems

Let me help some of you fellow designers save many hours of grief with CS5. No they will not tell you that they have issues. They do not have any customer support in the USA. Though I have felt like driving over to Adobe Head Quarters and sitting in front of their front doors with my Apple Computer and asking for help. I spent 4.5 hours on the phone today with two different tech support people that were on my computer remotely. Yes they will blame Apple. They will remind you from a written script that everything will be alright their is nothing to worry about. Well there are new updater's.

Here is how you install them. It only took me 3 weeks and 5 case numbers to finally have someone show me how to do it. Open up one of your programs. Go to help on the middle of your tool bar. Select the updater button. It will check for all CS5 updates. Close your program and then update all the programs you need too. There were many work arounds but this was the easiest and most efficient way to do it. Saving you the headache and grief. And the color sync error we didn't even get to that part yet.

They are phasing out Twain drivers so if you have scanners that need them you are SOOL.

Apple Los Gatos

Wish we had an Apple Store in Santa Cruz so I don't have to drive over the hill. I'm sure the Apple crew is going to tire of the Beatles playing all day long. The place was busy as usual. If we had one in town I know it will be busy too.
