yle Wester Wins Laguna Seca Road Rider Downhill Skate Race at the 2012 Sea Otter Bike event April 19, 2012. Amazing weather. HOT! no rain like most years. First Downhill race on the track in 31 years. It was great to see Hut, Goldman, Bostick, some of the original downhillers cheering on the new young riders. Laguna Seca Invitational was held on a beautiful, sunny afternoon at the Sea Otter Classic cycling festival. A strong field of riders raced on the classic course last used for a downhill skateboarding race in 1981. Kyle Wester won a tight Final heat over Andrew Mercado. Graham Buksa was third and Eric Lundberg fourth.
