My 15 minutes continues with a Instagram post from the Olympics "Oldest Female Competitive Skateboarder"

This amazing post on the Olympics Instagram posted at 10:00 am Friday and I see my messages just exploding. I saw World Skate Games on the collaboration and then I see the Olympic rings and the Olympics IG.
I was like wait what!
Thank you to all my friends that have acknoledged this cool thing. I hope it gets more eyes on Slalom Skateboarding, Downhill Skateboarding, Vert and Luge so one day they make it to the Olympics. I think Vert would be the easiest since it has a small footprint compared to the other 3 sports. Vert is fun to watch and there are some amazing skaters. Like Arisa Trew and JD Sanchez from Northern California.
The Olympics posted about Vert Skateboarding which is cool. "What is vert skateboarding?" Tony always gets mentioned when it comes to vert.
I wish they went further back to Tony Alva or Steve Olson and many others that started back in the Hester Series like myself. There were many women who founded the early vert riding like Peggy Oki from the legendary Dogtown skaters Cindy Whitehead Patty Hoffman Vicky Vickers Leilani Kiyabu-Glasheen and many more females. They seem to start vert in the 80's not the 70's.
