The Avatar movie is a good one.

It's been awhile since I've seen a movie that was as good as Avatar in more ways then the special effects. This movie tells a story that is timely and what humans have done since day one. It is playing in 3D at Green Valley Cinema 8. Met the owner of the local movie theater who was really nice and said he put the best 3D screen in and that he was really happy with the quality and was glad he went for the best and didn't settle. This movie makes you think and wasn't too scary for the kids. Line out the door when we got out of the 12:20 showing was sold out. A must see movie for sure.

It's not Monsters vs Aliens it's the management

We saw the movie on Friday with the kids and our neighbor and their kids. The little ones got scared and had to leave with their parents mid way through. The manager at the Green Valley Cinema 8 was kind enough to give them passes to come back again. Now that is very cool. We had to leave before the last 10 minutes or Ironman on Mother's Day last year as well and he let us come back weeks later to watch the end. It is the kindness of folks at these local places that really make you feel proud. Small towns are a good thing. Nice people deserve some kudo's. Oh, and the movie was good as well even though they didn't have the 3D thing going on. The kids didn't miss it a bit.
